Answer Telephones
how do you answer a telephone in a proffesional manner?
I’ve applied for a job which requires me to have a prossional phone manner, but if they were to call the first thing they’d be judging was how you’d answer your own phone.
when you recieve a phone call & they ask “can I please speak with…(your name)?”, what do you say to make it sound professional?
answering with something like “yep, that’s me” sounds very unproffesional.
they will first probably train you for this, but just in case say:
“yes, this is she”
but chances are if you are working for a company they will not ask for you directly, they will ask if they have reached ’so and so’ and you say “yes, this is (your name) speaking, how may i be of assistance?” or “how may i help you”
